"I assumed people would have taken a look at our record," Kelly said in an interview. He added that the outcome "certainly does not encourage any politician to be courageous and look to work across party lines."
So said St. Paul mayor Randy Kelly after being obliterated for his 2004 support of the ongoing Bushist high treason.
Kelly's actions were, at best, like those of Chamberlain 'reaching out' to Adolf Hitler. This is the story he wants you to believe, apparently. However, I suspect it is worse—that Kelly in fact supported the Bushist goals.
Kelly was the handpicked successor of now-U.S.-Senator Norm Coleman, henceforth known as 'Coleman of "Evil"', a man for whom treachery is routine. Kelly will be replaced by Chris Coleman, not related, and henceforth to be known as 'Coleman of "Good"'.
