Apollo 4 on column of fire

'Lake Pontchartrain'

As I said not too long ago, they might have to rename 'New Orleans' as
'Lake Pontchartrain'.

If this is anything like past American disasters, soon the city will
catch fire and burn to the ground, as happened in San Francisco after
the quake, and more recently a little bit in Grand Forks, North
Dakota, during the Red River flood.

People still have no clue

Some people are saying what's going on in New Orleans is a slow motion
version of the worst case scenario. They do not understand -- if the
storm had been category 5 and the worst of it had hit New Orleans,
skyscrapers would have fallen over. The windstorm alone, without
flooding, could have leveled most of the city.

I hate tornados, but I hate hurricanes more. I really do not like
hurricanes.
