Never ask a guy who's in a bubble if he's in a bubble. He can't answer.

'Cause he's in a bubble.

But the NBC anchor Brian Williams gamely gave it a shot, showing [Jesus II] the Newsweek cover picturing him trapped in a bubble.…

[Jesus II] may fly over all walks of life in Air Force One or drive by them and hide behind dark-tinted windows. In his bubble, he floats through a comforting world of doting women, respectful military audiences, loyal [Bushist] donors and screened partisan groups—with protesters, Democrats, journalists, critics and coffins of dead soldiers kept at bay.…

[Jesus II's] bubble requires constant care. It's not easy to keep out huge tragedies like Katrina, or flawed policies like Iraq. As Newsweek noted, a foreign diplomat "was startled when Secretary of State Rice warned him not to lay bad news on [Jesus II]. 'Don't upset him,' she said."

Heaven forbid. Don't burst his bubble.

[I don't like the bubble metaphor. You can see out of a bubble. Jesus II is kept in a windowless room into which his minions come frequently to praise him, worship him, gently steer him, or whatever.]

It's nice to have a tiny teapot

It's nice to have a tiny teapot again, the larger ones were slightly painful for me to handle. Plus the new one is better than the old one. The old one I bought for its unusual conical shape, not for practicality. The new one is teapot-shaped.

I've begun to thing the second explanation for the pot's blueness was the correct one: that I changed my choice to blue and entered the order and then immediately forgot I had done that.
