I think they should rename Windows XP as Labyrinth XP.
Who would have thought ~30 years ago that people like I would think IBM is not so bad. Consider, for instance, an IBM manual – huge, jargony, and very useful. Then consider a huge Microsoft manual – on second thought, don’t, or your head will spin.
I give up on ntbackup. It seems to have one of the most common problems that make Microsoft Labyrinth unusable: it tells you it can’t do something, but without telling you why it can’t. I’ve run into this problem with font installation, too. Screw it; my lifetime isn’t worth wasting with such problems in supposedly corporate professional software.
