Apollo 4 on column of fire

Stupid ignorance

Ron Reagan thinks that (stupid, ignorant) Rush Limbaugh saying that someone is ‘stupid’ and ‘ignorant’ is name-calling.

Somebody explain to Mr. Reagan that a name is a noun, and that ‘stupid’ and ‘ignorant’ are adjectives. Let’s say instead that Limbaugh made a ‘personal attack’. :)

I am reminded of P.M. Carpenter a little while back having no comprehension of the difference between ‘implicit’ and ‘explicit’. That, however, is a much more concern-worthy and not a humorous confusion; inability to distinguish inference from observed or directly related information is a disastrous shortcoming.
