Apollo 4 on column of fire

I just noticed ...

... that I am in the freaking donut hole!

Republican excuse for a healthcare bill ... Now I’ve got to dredge up the full cost of a bottle of sertraline. (Don’t worry, I’ve got it. But this reminds me I’ve got to get a new psychiatrist. Last one retired, this one took a job with at the VA hospital; like veterans need psychiatry, yeah, that’s a good one ...)

Department of Peace

About this Department of Peace idea that Dennis Kucinich, among others, has latched onto: I thought we already had one. It’s called Department of State. This DoP idea is like a company creating a ‘Quality Department’ that is responsible for ‘quality’, thereby absolving the true leadership of responsibility. The kind of division of responsibility is destructive; and if Kucinich thinks a Department of Peace taking responsibility from Foggy Bottom all these Bush years would have made a difference, let’s hear how. First let’s hear the name of the person Kucinich thinks Bush would have appointed Secretary of Peace ...

I’m tempted to say John Bolton, but more likely it would have been a weak nobody like Colin Powell.
