Worst. Park. Ever.

According to this article on this date, a new St. Paul Saints stadium is planned to be the worst baseball park ever: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Paul_Saints

My guess is they want to make up for the loss of the CP Rail line in left field by giving us a view of downtown St. Paul’s unhandsome skyline. Downtown Minneapolis would be so much better, but still the worst baseball park ever, if they screwed with the orientation.

Presumably it hasn’t occurred to these impulsive risk-takers that they are putting the sun in the eyes of the attendees, as well. At the current stadium, those of us with third base seats are spared completely.

They already fupped duck things by quitting the Northern League in favor of forming a new league that wasn’t as regional – as if the fans gave a royal fupp that the opposing team is from Pensacola, Florida, and that is very far away. No, we do actually give a fupp: it sucks. What’s more, now the schedule is seriously unbalanced and so what we end up seeing is the same few teams again and again.

Maybe Mike Veeck wants to top his life’s greatest achievement so far: Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park.

Is it just me?

Is it just me, or does Keitel’s signature say ‘Jew’? – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:German_instrument_of_surrender2.jpg

Perhaps he could have spared himself the hanging by gassing himself.

Margaret Wise Brown

I’m trying to see if I can remember (without looking) any of Margaret Wise Brown’s children’s books that don’t suck. I can think of ‘Goodnight Moon’, ‘The Runaway Bunny’, and ‘Little Fur Family’. (The only other book I can even remember is ‘My World’. Most of them I’ve seen only on used-book shelves, where they belong.)
