Apollo 4 on column of fire

I am tired of automated dependency tracking

I'm going to build myself an OS from scratch. It might be more physical work, though I’m not even sure of that; but most likely it will be less mental misery. I don't know how half the stuff on my system gets pulled in. Right now I am spending day and night fretting over my desire to help a project and my lack of ability to do this at the level I want. It isn’t even just the physical labor, but, as in my employment, difficulty focusing on the work due to the constant anxiety.

(This last bit is mostly why I got a very, very quiet machine this time. I have a tendency to listen to the sounds of the computer and worry it is about to break down. I could spend all day at this, at work.)

Another thing is that multilib ought to cease being a problem if it doesn’t have to be automated neatly.
