XFS

Hey, an XFS filesystem is even easier to grow than a JFS filesystem – at least there is slightly less typing. You need a special program, yes, but the command to run it is a bit shorter than the remount command for JFS.

Of course I could write a tiny script or alias to make the JFS command as short, but what matters is that XFS is easy. I’m thinking of migrating some filesystems, to avoid certain bottlenecks I run into with JFS.

(Neither type of filesystem can be shrunk.)
