I don't know how anyone could conclude that the Democrats are developing spine. I've quit the party as of last Thursday, when the Democrats in Congress voted for Bush for resident, out of fear of Bushist retaliation should they not do so. That Bush would have been selected anyway is a convenient cover. It doesn't take a "genius" to figure out that Bush being selected in a highly partisan vote would have had entirely different consequences.
Fool me once, shame on you. That was 2000. Fool me twice, shame on me. That's 2004. Shame on you all who fall for the Democratic ruse a second time. How many times must Democrats rubber stamp a stolen election before you aren't fooled anymore?
It's the last thing I wanted to do, quit this party, and I've got nothing to replace it, but shame on me if I'm fooled a second time.
