Editorial: Assault on courts/'Out of control' is misdirected

I have a small sense of pride that the major newspaper here is among the few with the guts to seriously criticize the Bushist destruction of the republic. One of the latest Star Tribune offerings: http://www.startribune.com/stories/1519/5331831.html.

We live in interesting times. You know that the U.S. as this magnificent power is toast, right? Hopefully we will be only lightly toasted and become a "normal" people again.
