The meaning of Mike Gravel’s rock-throwing ad

Mike Gravel has a cold but he spoke to Randi Rhodes, anyway, because she had assumed he was out of the running. He explained his ad for her (it’s gone around the net once or twice, look upon YouTube or the like). I am not good at remembering details and already have forgotten the exact meaning of his staring into the camera but the part about the rock is going off towards your demise but chucking in your something or another and then it has ripples (in the metaphorical sense).

See how quickly I forget details? He just explained it a minute ago. :) I remember mostly non-verbally the meanings of things people have said. (Thus I am not good at recalling Star Trek lines, but remember the ‘morals’ and such.) Basically Gravel’s ad represents spending a whole life getting to your rock-tossing event and then leaving ripples after you are gone.
