Clintons go home

I often reason in the following way, and it seems to serve me well: if I am being affected in a certain way, then likely it is a more general phenomenon in the population. With the Clintons trying to get David Shuster fired and not, say, Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Sean Hannitty, Bill O’Reilly, etc.—well, I just removed all our gift-from-the-party pictures of Bill Clinton from our refrigerator (including one with Hillary in it, but also one with Buddy as a large puppy and one with Al Gore). Frankly, I don’t know what the Clintons hoped to gain from this; outrage in Hillary Clinton followers? But what about the rest of us?

Then this business where the Clinton campaign announced a shuffle in the campaign staffing, what was that about? I suppose that, because a big noise about the Clinton campaign being short of funds resulted in big fundraising, big noise about a campaign ‘shake-up’ would result in, what, a big increase in the size of the staff?

Just go away, Clintons. Just go away. It’s amazing how you guys can ruin what was a good thing. Bill isn’t even an ex-president anymore; he just threw it away, after having been a guy whose picture was all over our refrigerator and probably surprisingly many other refrigerators around the country.

So, then, how many more Democratic voters possessing Clinton memorabilia have begun to want the Clintons to go away and let us forget they exist?
