I personally believe that an appropriate way to handle this is for Randi to stay off of the topic of the Clinton campaign, because she is on record, now, referring to Clinton and Ferraro in the terms of a personal gripe. Even I don’t do that, despite having a personal gripe against them. :) Whether a suspension is appropriate, I don’t know, but I do not oppose the suspension and don’t criticize it.
Thankfully Malloy is on vacation since Friday and so doesn’t have the opportunity to compound his, I think, unjustified anger, which ate up most of his Thursday program.
Sam Seder seems to be the main sub for Randi, so from my point of view the suspension has led to a temporary but vast improvement in programming. :) Sam thinks Randi went too far but shouldn’t be suspended, because she was not on-air, but I don’t get the impression he feels that way strongly. But Sam is way smarter than Malloy and way, way smarter than Farias. :)
