He would need to confess that he did the wrong thing. He would need to say that he was afraid of Nancy, Steny, Harry, Jay and didn’t feel confident in expressing his authority as de facto leader of the Democratic Party. He would need to say that he hadn’t felt strengthened by the following he had, that he hadn’t trusted the people who supported him to help him stand strong. He would have to confess these things and more, and that is not going to happen.
So we ought to focus on an even more crucial problem that Barack Obama has, and that is media behavior, about which we can do things, even though they are difficult to do. One is to work the refs.
