Kristy and I just got new seats for the coming baseball season, with less uphillness, but now we will be more vulnerable to fouls away from left-handed batters. Where we were before, a ball would have had to have a really wicked spin to go around the net and hit us in the face. On the other hand, now I have more incentive to watch the game!
Unfortunate also is that we may be moving away from our friends, but our disabilities rule.
(The only time I actually did get hit by a hard hit foul ball, it was in bleachers, I was wearing winter-wear, it was headed towards my chest instead of face, and I was ready to catch it. It still hurt, but I’ve got enhanced pain sensitivity.)
