Sue for slander?

The Swift Boat Liars have not even left themselves Reagan-style "plausible deniability." They simply lie and do it with malice. Thus, even though he is a "public figure," John Kerry probably has a case.

The question arises, then, should John Kerry sue the Liars for slander and libel, and if so then when should he sue?

As for the Bush, I think Kerry ought to use every opportunity to challenge that spoiled, giggling killer to a one-on-one. In my fantasies Kerry challenges the Bush to a fist fight, but of course the Bush would put on glasses while His surrogates said Kerry was "crazy like McCain." Challenging the Bush to a debate on their military records is a good idea, though.

Also I think that Kerry surrogates should begin spreading around a word used to describe the Bush's sire, and which is truthful when applied to the Bush Himself: wimp.
