Celebration!

Today is the 209th anniversary of the discovery of the dwarf planet Ceres, which is by far the largest body in the asteroid belt, and is inhabited by a race of intelligent jellyfish.

The Dawn spacecraft is scheduled to arrive there in 2015, bringing a message of peace and antipathy. (It is a mixed message.)
