disaster, the way they are supposed to be.
Also apparently the Army Corps of Engineers had to deal with the most
drastic single year cuts in funding for protecting the New Orleans
area from a major hurricane.
Of course, it is possible they may have to change the name of the city
from 'New Orleans' to 'Lake Pontchartrain'. But hopefully the
Superdome will stay high, dry, and intact, because it is stuffed with
people who hadn't the means to leave the city.
I am glad I am at the opposite end of the Mississippi River and that
it is a very, very long river. I hate tornados, but I hate hurricanes
